Lawrenceville First Baptist Weekday Preschool

Welcome to Lawrenceville First Preschool! We believe that children are a precious gift from God and that the preschool years are a foundational and formative time for children. Our desire is to provide each child with an opportunity to discover God's love and His importance in their lives. We offer experiences that enhance a child's development academically, physically, emotionally, and spiritually in a nurturing, Christ-Centered environment.

Our preschool has a long history of excellence in serving children and is highly regarded across Gwinnett County. This is a multi-ethnic, racial, and cultural preschool that serves many families across Gwinnett County. Our mission is to minister to families in our community by partnering with parents to provide quality, Christian-based instruction for children. At Lawrenceville First Preschool, children are challenged to grow through hands-on, age appropriate activities. Thank you for considering Lawrenceville First Preschool. If you have any questions regarding the Preschool or enrollment, please call 770-513-4174.

ABOUT US

In September of 1969, Lawrenceville First Baptist Church, with the help of the pastor Rev. Corley, began a Kindergarten program with nineteen children. In the years to come, the Kindergarten grew to an enrollment of 260 students with 28 faculty and staff. The church's central location provided an ideal setting to serve families in the Lawrenceville and surrounding areas.

Today, after many successful years, the Lawrenceville First Preschool serves our community with a quality, Christ-centered learning environment for children ages 2 through young 5's. We offer a young 5's pre-k class which is specifically designed for children that turn 5 between September 1-December 31. We believe that learning should be wholistic; a learning environment that enhances a child's development mentally, physically, emotionally, and spiritually. This type of learning environment includes: circle time, daily learning centers, art, science, social sciences, movement, and bible.

The children also give back to the community in which they come from. Every year the children participate in an annual St. Jude Children's Hospital fundraiser. Over the last 10 years the children have raised $60,732.50 for St. Jude. The funds that were raised would be enough to fully fund three surgical procedures.
